My Story

" I've always been a dreamer..."

Just a kid in 1972, I sleepily crawled out of bed before sunrise to join my dad at the local coffee shop before he dropped me at school. The smell of  bacon and cigarettes  drifted through the air, and I sat beside him smiling, sipping coffee and listening intently to the grown-up conversations. I am forever grateful for those treasured moments we shared. He unknowingly introduced me to entrepreneurship at an early age. 

I lost my dad when I was just 13, and this loss had a profound effect on my life. Early own I came to understand the human value . I learned that each day is a gift and our days are numbered. These early life lessons taught me to appreciate the brevity of life and to live my one wild and precious life to the fullest, loving big along the way.

My education is varied - from microcomputing to graphic design, web design, marketing and communications, business coaching and holistic financial planning. My rich work history includes large corporations, small businesses and non-profits. I have worked in the insurance industry, legal field, radio broadcasting, health and fitness, food industry, retail, home building industry and business coaching. My experience spans 30+ years including advertising, marketing, communications, event management, photography, graphic design, web design and management, social media, networking and most recently business and  holistic financial planning coaching.  

My why comes from a coffee shop, a waitress, a business owner, a cook, a dry cleaners, a shoe repairman, a painter, an autobody mechanic, a horse trainer,  a general contractor,  a farmer, a data processor,  a secretary, an engineer and a teacher. Just a few of the beautiful humans who have touched my life and added color to my story on the journey to becoming a coach.  Everyone has their own story,  their own purpose, and passion and their one wild and precious life to live. I am here to gather stories, listen, learn, ask questions, encourage, inspire, provide accountability and direction and help others achieve their big dreams in life and business.

The entrepreneurial spirit was alive in my dad and he imparted it to me. My entire life I have loved cheering others on to success. I was born a coach, but it took a lifetime to figure it all out. In honor of all those small business owners  I have come to know through the years, I am working with start-ups, solopreneurs and small business owners to help you define your goals, create solid plans, develop objectives, and chase your dreams. I will hold you accountable to live the life you dreamed of when you became a business owner.
